MSBI Developer

Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient application support and administration, including incident resolution, problem management and application enhancements. (30%).

• Triage the Production Support issues or Operational Requests, work with internal teams to resolve these issues and requests. (20%).

• Reverse engineer and document the custom-built SQL applications and Data integrations across multiple systems Utilize fundamental design principles to build scalable applications.(15%).

• Write reusable functions, views, and database objects. (15%).

• Identify risks, deliver clear documentation, and work directly with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve production support issues, operational requests, and escalations. (15%)

• Support product testing, and rollouts. (5%)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

• Familiar with SSIS development skills required such as:

  • Strong Experience with SSIS performance tuning and troubleshooting

  • Control Flows, Data Flow, Data Transformation, Performance Tunning, dynamic connection.

  • SSIS Service packs Solar wind and Zappy sys. Strong experience in C# and .net required for SSIS.

• 5+ year of hands-on-Experience with various design and architectural patterns. SQL development skills are required such as:

  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL Server (2016 or later) and T-SQL programming

  • Creating queries and stored procedures, Performance tune of queries and query optimization

  • Developing Dynamic SQL and stored procedures

  • creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

  • Implementing and Managing SQL Agent.

• 5+ Year experience in Enterprise Data warehouse and reporting.

• Strong experience with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling

• Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles

• Knowledge and hands on experience

  • 5-7 years SQL and SSIS application support experience

  • Undergraduate degree (Computer Science preferred)

  • Excellent analytical skills, with a can-do approach when facing unknown challenges.
