Job Description
Based in Vancouver or Toronto, the Data Analyst is responsible for compiling and delivering data to institutional audiences that is related to products, people, and assets under management. Duties relate to data dissemination, including populating questionnaires, web portals, marketing collateral, and responding to ad hoc questions. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, has an excellent command of MS Excel, and an interest in capital markets. You are enthusiastic, like numbers, and have a keen attention to detail; and you thrive in a collegial, fast-paced environment.

What will you do?
Drawing on internal systems, compile and provide data on our firm, products, people, and assets under management, for internal and external audiences, using Excel, Powerpoint and Word;
Support business development efforts;
Liaise with and manage stakeholders from RBC GAM and other business partners globally; and
Collaborate and work hard in a fast-paced environment.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Cover letter with application
Experience working with and presenting data (keen attention to detail)
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines (organizational skills)
Ability to work independently, as well as within a team setting (personable)
Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with SQL queries, Tableau, Salesforce, Python
Canadian Securities Course, CFA Investment Foundations Certificate, CFA Level 1
Experience working in the investment industry
Working knowledge of French

The expected base salary range for the above position is $50,000-$75,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
