What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Technology and Data Analyst, you will:

- Be responsible for advancing the delivery of modern data infrastructure and architecture for FSS required for improving business reporting, analytics and governance. You will work closely with data engineers and IT architects to ensure the solution deployed is scalable, efficient and reliable.

- Also work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using AI, Machine learning and statistical approaches.

What will you do?

• Building FSS data strategy and lead projects by working with stakeholder from IT, Analytics and Business leads

• Have strong data foundation knowledge and practical experience to drive setup of data infrastructure required for FSS Analytics, by working with IT: Example: Data Storage: Database, Cloud; Data Quality; integrating enterprise tool required for building and deploying AI/ML models etc.

• Strong SQL and Python data manipulation skills required to deliver on advanced analytics products and business reporting

• Raise the bar of data management, automation & analytics tools at FSS, including but not limited to driving data best practices, improving analytical processes, documentation and mentoring other team members

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in data management, architecture and building enterprise technology roadmap

• Expert-level skills in extracting and manipulating large datasets using data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python)

• Experience in building & scheduling complex data pipelines

• Experience in driving outcomes as project lead

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Resourcefulness and a genuine interest in problem solving

Nice-to-have: 

• Experience with VBA a plus, to help with a few legacy automation processes

• Work as champion for implementing best practices for Jira, confluence and Github
