Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

We're excited to announce a new opportunity for a Gen AI Developer to join our team, driven by our continued growth. In this role, you will design and build production-ready full-stack applications, custom GPTs, ChatGPT assistants, autonomous agents, and low-code solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge tools, including Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Apps, to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing, developing, and implementing full-stack GenAI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, React, and supporting cloud services
Building and maintaining Custom GPTs, ChatGPT assistants, and autonomous agents that meet business and client needs
Creating low-code applications and accelerators with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Apps
Producing clear architectural blueprints and technical documentation covering security, privacy, and performance requirements
Ensuring every solution is scalable, secure, performant, and cost-optimised for PwC’s enterprise environment
Staying current with Microsoft AI, ChatGPT and LLM advancements and sharing insights with the wider team
Providing technical guidance and support during presales, proof-of-concept, and delivery phases

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent applied experience

• Applied GenAI / LLM engineering – hands-on with RAG pipelines, embeddings, fine-tuning, agent orchestration, and evaluation

• Full-stack delivery on Microsoft stack – React/TypeScript front end, Azure OpenAI & Functions back end, REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL/NoSQL stores

• Enterprise solution design & DevOps – security, privacy, logging, cost, IaC (Bicep/Terraform), CI/CD (GitHub Actions / ADO)

• Low-code development – building and integrating Custom GPTs, OpenaAI Agents,  Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Apps solutions

• Experience shaping build vs buy / configure strategy and multi-cloud GenAI services (e.g. AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI) (desirable)

• Proven ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business language and lead client demos / presales sessions (desirable)
