About the RoleĀ As a Senior Software Engineer (C++ & Computer Vision), you’ll design and develop high-performance perception software that powers our AI-driven construction monitoring platform. You will create efficient, real-time algorithms to process images, videos, and 3D scans—detecting project risks and deviations from BIM models. This role combines modern C++ expertise, advanced computer vision, and algorithmic problem-solving to deliver impactful solutions in real-world construction environments. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build technology that improves project safety, efficiency, and decision-making. What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and optimize high-performance C++ applications for processing images, video, point clouds, and BIM data in real time.
  • Develop and deploy custom computer vision algorithms using OpenCV and PCL.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate, deploy, and optimize AI models.
  • Apply advanced template metaprogramming and efficient algorithm design to build scalable, maintainable software.
  • Support real-world deployment of perception and AI systems on cloud platforms.

What You Have

  • Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) with proven experience building production-quality products.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenCV and PCL for image, video, and 3D data processing.
  • Solid grasp of algorithm design, data structures, and computational efficiency.
  • Experience working with BIM models, 3D spatial data, or reality capture is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly self-motivated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong collaborative mindset.

The Extras That Set You Apart

  • Experience deploying robotic software in production environments (construction, mining, oil & gas, or similar industries).
  • Familiarity with noisy sensor data and building robust, resilient algorithms.
  • Experience integrating robotic systems with web services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AI model deployment pipelines, including optimizing inference performance and integrating models into production systems.
  • Understanding of ROS/ROS2 build system.
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data handling.
Compensation and BenefitsOur salary range is generous ($70,000 - $200,000 annual), but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Ā  Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
