On behalf of NDA, Real-Time Ops Platform, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Front-End Engineer to own and ship the UI that lets users type free-text prompts to generate views with maps, charts, and reports. You will design the layout DSL, craft reusable widgets, integrate real-time mapping layers, and wire everything to our prompt engine and back-end APIs, all while setting the bar for code quality, performance, and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead the entire front-end stack of Flow's platform.
• Build and ship user interfaces that transform free-text prompts into dynamic visualizations (maps, charts, and reports).
• Design a layout DSL (domain-specific language) and craft reusable UI components and widgets.
• Integrate real-time mapping layers using tools like Mapbox GL or Google Maps.
• Connect front-end elements with the prompt engine and back-end APIs (REST/WebSocket).
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of R&D and back-end team to bring new features to life.
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience (mid to senior level).
• Strong proficiency in React.js (or similar frameworks like Vue or Angular).
• Expert knowledge of TypeScript and component-driven development.
• UI styling with TailwindCSS or Material UI.
• Experience with mapping libraries (Mapbox GL, Google Maps, or Leaflet).
• Solid background working with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, or time-series databases is a plus.
• Proficiency in unit and e2e testing, performance optimization, accessibility, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Strong product mindset with the ability to independently drive ambiguous projects.
• Passion for user experience, interface performance, and design quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable being the most senior FE engineer and setting standards for others.
  

Advantages:

• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Exposure to AI services, such as OpenAI’s API or LLM-based interfaces.
