The Community Insights (CI) team provides strategic content understanding solution that helps brands measure their resonance across TikTok’s community and uncover emerging trends. By analyzing user interactions and content performance, CI empowers advertisers to make data-driven marketing decisions. The success of CI—and TikTok’s broader data-driven monetization strategy—relies on high-quality labeled data and intelligent analytics at scale.
As a Product Data Scientist, you will lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and productization of our Community Insights solutions. This role sits at the intersection of data science, product development, and business strategy. You will be responsible for translating business and client needs into scalable product roadmaps, defining success metrics, and driving adoption across global markets.
Responsibilities
• Drive the productization and GTM strategy of Community Insights solutions, from early-stage exploration to scaled deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, ML, PM, Sales, and Client Solutions to define product requirements, roadmap, and monetization strategies.
• Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams—gather requirements, lead stakeholder communications, and shape narratives for client-facing presentations.
• Leverage advanced data science capabilities (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, CV, LLMs) to inform product design and optimize monetization opportunities.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable features that address client needs and increase adoption and retention.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and product benchmarking to inform prioritization and feature development.
• Own and track product success core KPI metrics; build dashboards and reporting pipelines to monitor adoption and business impact.
