About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, versatile AI Generalist / Data Scientist with a strong focus on Generative AI (GenAI) to help us explore and implement impactful AI-driven solutions. You will play a key role in identifying high-value opportunities, experimenting rapidly, and building functional prototypes leveraging large language models (LLMs) and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

AI Use Case Discovery

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas where AI—especially GenAI—can deliver high-value business impact.
• Analyze business processes, data flows, and product opportunities to uncover scalable AI applications.
• Perform rapid discovery sprints to assess feasibility, define success metrics, and prioritize projects.

LLM-Based Development

• Design, build, and fine-tune systems based on LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, open-source models).
• Implement GenAI techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), summarization, classification, and prompt chaining.
• Optimize prompt engineering strategies and LLM interactions for reliability and output quality.

Prototyping & Experimentation

• Rapidly develop and iterate on working prototypes to validate ideas and demonstrate value.
• Use Python and modern GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers) to build proof-of-concept tools and workflows.
• Evaluate and report on model performance, scalability, and real-world applicability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with recent work focused on LLMs or GenAI.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable ideas.
• Exposure to business intelligence or product discovery frameworks.
