When you join the Alembic team, you’ll help build the tools that provide unprecedented visibility into how marketing drives revenue, helping a growing list of Fortune 500 companies make more confident, data-driven decisions.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Alembic, you’ll be one of the dedicated QA professionals on our team. You’ll collaborate across engineering, data science, and product to establish and scale our quality processes. From automated test suites to real-world user validation, your work ensures that what we ship is accurate, reliable, and built to last.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and scale testing strategies across Alembic’s product and data pipelines

  • Write and maintain automated test cases (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end)

  • Develop and own tools for test automation, continuous testing, and validation at scale

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and data scientists to detect, reproduce, and debug complex issues across systems

  • Champion quality across the organization—build a culture of proactive validation and fast feedback loops

  • Participate in product planning and design reviews to ensure quality from the start

  • Contribute to performance testing, security testing, and compliance readiness efforts

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing

  • Strong proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Pytest)

  • Experience testing modern web applications, APIs (REST, GraphQL), and/or data platforms

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing integrations (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, startup environments with ambiguity and evolving systems
    Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with data validation techniques in ML or analytics platforms

  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code environments (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)

  • Experience working with cloud services (AWS preferred)

  • Interest in marketing analytics, causal inference, or AI/ML validation

What You’ll Get

  • A seat at the table in a company solving complex, high-impact problems

  • Opportunity to shape QA processes and influence product quality at scale

  • Work closely with senior engineers, scientists, and product leaders

  • High-trust culture centered on excellence, integrity, and curiosity
