Job Description:

POSITION: Senior Associate
WORKSITE: 6300 Bee Cave Road Building One, Austin, TX 78746
Analyze and manipulate large data sets stored in databases or flat files such as comma separated values or excel spreadsheets using query languages such as T-SQL or other SQL variant, APIs, macros, or programming languages to extract meaningful information and insights, which also involve managing multiple investment data projects to meet deadlines and communicate product vision to technical and non-technical teams; working with statistical computer programs such as Python, R, or SAS language and SQL to drive data analysis, aggregation, and quality assurance; and read and interpret complex financial statements to evaluate company profitability and corporate actions to aid in portfolio construction. Additionally, will also articulate detailed product requirements for investment data applications and perform user acceptance testing to verify satisfaction of such requirements. Maintain effective communication and establish strong relationships to build consensus amongst stakeholders from across the organization. Collaboratively design, build, and test the software applications developed to manage the data of investment solutions and take ownership over the final product, in partnership with Technology teams. Manage multiple investment data management projects and processes to drive portfolio management decisions while meeting deadlines and curating product vision. Hybrid work from home schedule permitted 2 to 3 days within a reasonable commuting distance from the office.. #LI-DNI
MINIUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of work experience. Also, 2 years of experience stated herein to involve: working with large financial datasets to determine insights, performing quantitative analysis, and building data quality controls using Excel. Additionally, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve managing multiple investment data projects to meet deadlines and clearly communicate product vision to technical and non-technical teams. Further, 6 months of experience or 6 credit hours stated herein to involve statistical computer programs such as Python, R, or SAS language and SQL to drive data analysis, aggregation, and quality assurance. Finally, any experience or knowledge to involve the ability to read and interpret complex financial statements to evaluate company profitability and corporate actions to aid in portfolio construction.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of work experience to involve: working with large financial datasets to determine insights, performing quantitative analysis, and building data quality controls using Excel. Additionally, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve: managing multiple investment data projects to meet deadlines and clearly communicate product vision to technical and non-technical teams. Further, 6 months of experience or 6 credit hours stated herein to involve statistical computer programs such as Python, R, or SAS language and SQL to drive data analysis, aggregation, and quality assurance.
