Cloud SRE Specialist (Hybrid)

We're seeking someone to join our Azure Platform Squad as a Cloud SRE Specialist in Enterprise Computing to work on public cloud projects focusing on AI enablement and reliability.

This is an Infrastructure Production Management & Reliability Engineering position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of the organization's infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Provide a high-level understanding of how Generative AI models function, including their architecture, interaction through APIs, and the use of query endpoints for model communication and data exchange.

• Monitor and manage logging for AI models, including tracking prompts, responses, latency, and downtime.

• Provide an understanding of how Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) offer various AI models and implement unique resiliency mechanisms across both the models and the CSPs.

• Possess strong infrastructure, development and DevOps skills.

• Demonstrate service ownership, accountability and building trusted relationships.

• Implement Change and Incident Management concepts.

• Collaborate with vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services (AI Foundry) to meet customer expectations.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 3+ years prior SRE experience.

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry:

• Specifically model hosting options serverless endpoint, models hosted on a VM, Models hosted on an AKS Cluster

• Networking configurations for hosting models

• Model resiliency across multiple regions

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Sound knowledge of server infrastructure and cloud computing.

• Experience with architecting and maintaining high availability production systems.

• Strong development skills in Python and Terraform.

• Implementing open-source observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or Open Telemetry).

• Experience creating technical architecture documentation.
