We're rapidly expanding our sales team and are looking for a high-performing Senior AI Sales Account Executive to play a pivotal role in driving new business and expanding our impact.
Role Overview
As a Senior AI Sales Account Executive at ActiveFence, you will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and closing complex new business opportunities with enterprise customers. You'll leverage your professional network, sophisticated social selling strategies, and cutting-edge AI-powered tools to build and manage a robust pipeline.
This role demands a proven track record of successfully managing and closing significant six and seven-figure deals involving SaaS solutions and managed services. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and Qualify: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through strategic networking, outbound outreach, social media engagement, and AI prospecting tools.
- Strategic Account Development: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to engage prospective customers effectively and drive substantial revenue growth.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Leadership: Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery and compelling solution positioning to meticulous proposal development, skilled negotiation, and successful contract closure.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influential stakeholders within target accounts.
- Accurate Forecasting: Consistently and accurately forecast pipeline and revenue to meet or exceed demanding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
- Industry Representation: Represent ActiveFence at relevant industry events and conferences as needed, enhancing our market presence.

Salary Range: $340,000 - $350,000 OTE - Range may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of enterprise SaaS or technology sales experience, with a strong focus on Generative AI, security, compliance, or related domains.
- Proven Deal Closer: Demonstrated success in closing complex deals valued at $500K+ (six to seven figures), encompassing both web-based platform subscriptions and managed services.
- Startup Acumen: Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, with a proven ability to thrive and adapt amidst ambiguity.
- Exceptional Prospecting Skills: Superior prospecting, networking, and social selling abilities; adept at leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, industry groups, and AI tools to uncover and nurture new leads.
- Consultative Approach: Strong consultative selling skills, with a keen ability to deeply understand customer pain points and strategically align ActiveFence's solutions to their key business objectives.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-Starter: A highly motivated self-starter mentality with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
