RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand statistical modeling requirements expressed in a technical language and execute per a specified plan to a specified timeline.
Present and communicate facts clearly and accurately with manager and peers.
Efficiently examine and clean large data sets, build basic multivariate statistical models, format code clearly, and produce correct documentation.
Correctly know statistical assumptions and make logical inferences.
Utilize modern modeling methods including regression techniques and machine learning.
Write efficient computer code using white space, comments, indentation, arrays, control blocks, and modularization.
Build datasets from complex data warehouses using Python programming.
Independently derive the correct lessons from raw data and balance well the competing needs of the model development lifecycle using Python.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Engineering (any), Applied Mathematics, or related: and
2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Utilizing modern modeling methods including regression techniques and machine learning;
Writing efficient computer code using white space, comments, indentation, arrays, control blocks, and modularization;
Building datasets from complex data warehouses using Python programming; and,
Independently deriving the correct lessons from raw data and balancing well the competing needs of the model development lifecycle using Python.
