You will collaborate with local financial and commercial communities ensuring correct data management and flow, proposing automation tools. Your role is critical in steering business performance through financial  and data-driven insight. You will not only be responsible for traditional controlling activities but will also apply advanced analytical techniques, statistical modeling, and automation to solve complex business challenges, uncover growth opportunities, and support strategic decision-making across the organization

Furthermore, the role includes participation in projects aimed at standardizing, digitalizing, and automating workflow processes, ensuring optimal efficiency within the division's finance function.

 

Collaboration with local financial and commercial teams is also essential. This ensures proper data management and flow, while also proposing automation tools for improved operations.
 

 

 

Main responsibilities

Analytical Expertise:

  • Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns within extensive datasets.
  • Create, validate, and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting) to tackle specific business challenges such as demand and sales forecasting, inventory optimization, and volume/margin decisions.
  • Monitor the profitability of European S&S by continuous performance analysis (pricing, margin) and identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and manage the commercial S&S monthly forecast and during the budget cycle.
  • Provide support for monthly financial closing activities.
  • Perform competitive analysis, including main KPIs, trends, and gap analysis.

Business Insight and Presentation:

  • Transform complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders who lack technical backgrounds.
  • Develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and contribute to creating new Power BI tools for digitalization and automation (Power Automate).

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with local teams across various units to understand their needs, define analytical issues, and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and other data specialists to ensure data quality, accessibility, and infrastructure support for analytical projects.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
     
  • Master's degree in Business or Engineering  with a solid technical foundation.
  • 3-5 working experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience utilizing data visualization tools, particularly Power BI and DAX.
  • Competent English speaker (minimum B2 level); additional languages are advantageous.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and a particular interest in commercial matters.
  • Inquisitive nature with the capacity to acquire technical knowledge about customers, products, and industrial/financial processes.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10-20% of the time)
