Overview of the Enterprise Data Office Organization:
Accelerating progress on our data transformation is an imperative for Citi, and over the last several months, we have analyzed what we need to do to make this happen. We are convinced that consistently producing timely, accurate and complete data that we can confidently rely on to run our business is a team sport - one that requires groups to work together toward shared goals.

The goal of our data transformation is clear: to ensure we can generate accurate and complete information in a timely manner, and use that data to inform our business-as-usual operations and our risk analyses, whether for real-world needs or as part of our scenario planning and regulatory reporting. While that sounds straightforward, itās a meaningful undertaking to move away from siloed and complex processes, legacy systems, and activity-based metrics that have held us back in the past.Ā
Overview of the Role:
The Data Quality Lead Analyst contributes to efforts to ensure that Data Exceptions are identified, monitored, remediated and reported in alignment with the Citi Data Governance Policy. The Data Quality Lead Analyst may work closely with Data Domains to improve the quality of the firm's data by addressing data defects. They may also work with Technology partners to identify requirements to improve existing capabilities or implement new solutions to support Exceptions management. The Data Quality Lead Analyst will also support analytics and reporting of Data Exceptions across the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Supports activities to drive Data Quality measurement, produce Data Quality dashboards and reports, and implement Data Quality strategies
- Support efforts to bring Exception Management processes into compliance with the CDGP
- Assess the effectiveness of Controls and suggest improvements in design and execution
- Lead data improvement initiatives, processes, and creation of tools in line with requirements
- Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions, and/or run data consumption demand and requirementsĀ
- Lead day to day activities to support data quality resolution, and to optimize metrics reporting processĀ
- Report Data Quality Exceptions through EDO approved tools
- Support senior management strategic visionĀ
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferredĀ
- Experience with defining and implementing data quality programsĀ
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
- Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to work under pressure, facilitate discussions
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
