JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
- Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines and analytics systems for tracking and analysing digital ADEX.
- Develop models and dashboards to monitor campaign performance, audience engagement, and media spend efficiency.
- Support the integration of data from multiple sources including programmatic platforms, social media, and Astro’s proprietary systems.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in digital advertising.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Maintain and optimize data infrastructure using modern tools and cloud platforms.
- Document processes and contribute to the development of data science best practices within the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably in digital media, advertising, or marketing technology.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, Trade Desk) and campaign analytics.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning fundamentals, and data modeling.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with digital ADEX datasets or media spend tracking tools.
- Knowledge of marketing attribution models and media mix modeling.
- Exposure to MLOps and model deployment practices.
- Familiarity with Astro’s digital ecosystem or Malaysian media landscape is a plus.
