Job Description

Foreign Exchange Product House (FXPH) – Pricing & Analytics

FXPH is a business unit within FRB that facilitates currency trades for both individuals and businesses with tailored product structures, for specific purposes, pricing structures, and customer and regulatory experience requirements.

Role Summary:

A technical and specialised role within the FXPH Pricing Team, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining pricing models, reports, and strategies. The role plays a key part in driving pricing innovation, supporting data migration, enhancing analytical capabilities, and contributing to strategic business decisions across the bank.

Pricing & Analytics

  • Build and maintain robust pricing models using statistical and quantitative methods (SAS, SQL, Python, etc.).
  • Monitor model accuracy, conduct regular reviews, and implement updates to reflect business changes.
  • Automate and maintain reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to support pricing insights and executive reporting.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, trend monitoring, and pricing insights to shape strategic initiatives.

Data & Platforms

  • Support migration of FX pricing processes and code to Group-wide analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with the broader Data & Analytics ecosystem, including the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO).
  • Prepare and cleanse datasets to enable accurate model development and reporting.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure model governance, validation, documentation, and audit-readiness in line with internal policies.
  • Comply with internal pricing procedures, client pricing validation, and regulatory expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Present analytical findings, pricing insights, and business cases to internal forums (e.g. Exco).
  • Act as a key contact for cross-functional teams, including operations, compliance, and business executives.
  • Engage with regional teams on pricing strategies and presentations (including occasional travel).

Operational Support

  • Assist the operations team by resolving pricing issues using data-driven root cause analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance pricing infrastructure in collaboration with the DS3 Analyst.

Preferred Skills & Experience:​

  • 3–5 years in a quantitative analyst or data science role, preferably within financial services or FX.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, Power BI, and statistical modelling.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange pricing models and related financial instruments. (advantageous)
  • Experience in automating analytics processes and delivering production-level models.
  • Ability to translate technical analytics into business insights and communicate to senior stakeholders.

Qualification:

  • Mathematical statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied mathematics , Econometrics, or similar
