Chief Operating Officer's (COO) Office
The COO's Office supports our COO to streamline operations and align them with strategic goals. You will work with the COO, Heads of Departments, and stakeholders across GIC to achieve operational excellence.

We contribute to GIC’s success by ensuring operational efficiency, performance monitoring, and risk management. The COO's office collaborates with stakeholders across GIC to foster continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration, quality assurance, and performance evaluation.

What will you do as a Data Analytics Lead?

Based in the COO’s Office, the Data Analytics Lead will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making within the PMO and technology functions. This role focuses on developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring accurate reporting, and providing actionable insights that support the PMO and technology strategic objectives across all projects.Ā

Key Responsibilities

  • KPI Development: Establish, track, and refine KPIs to measure project performance, resource utilization, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex project data - including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to identify trends, interdependencies, and areas for optimisation; translate insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that offer a comprehensive view of project performance across GIC’s business units
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the PMO team and various departments to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and consistency in reporting and documentation efforts
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing data collection, reporting processes, and analytics methodologies to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels, facilitating data-driven discussions and informed decision-making

What makes you a successful candidate?

  • Ability to connect the dots across data sources and turn complexity into clarity
  • A mindset for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at multiple levels and tell the story behind the numbers
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
    • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is a plus
  • Experience: At least 8-12 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within a project management context
  • Strong analytical and data visualisation skills; proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools
  • Solid understanding of project portfolio management and financial planning in a technology or transformation context
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights and narratives
  • Prior exposure to enterprise PMO, transformation office, or COO functions preferred
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in complex matrix environmentsĀ
