To do so, we have formed a new organization called PT Digital and Operational Excellence (PTE) with the aspiration to digitally transform and to become a lean organization.
PTE is the new organization that catalyzes the global development and execution of PT’s Digital and Operational Excellence strategy to enable PT to realize our performance promises. We build a strong cross-functional and inclusive community, further develop the Lean and Digital skills across PT, and scale up our Digital and Advanced Analytics solutions, for the benefit of our colleagues and patients.
We aim to activate a data citizenship mindset and a digital mind, revolutionize our FAIR data ecosystem and systems landscape, re-design excellent processes, and generate transformative insights. We collaborate closely with global functions to deliver impactful value to our patients.
The Opportunity
You will function as an innovator, inventor, investigator, partner, engineer, “firefighter,” and scientist. This includes planning, executing, and delivering AI-based projects, analyzing problems, and exploring datasets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: As part of cross-functional use case teams, you will tackle high-pressing business problems, becoming familiar with our product-related data, manufacturing processes, and systems.
Data Analysis and AI Solutions: You will preprocess structured and unstructured data with the support of Data Engineers to build new Data Products (Data Mesh). Analyze small to medium amounts of static and real-time data to identify trends and patterns, and implement analysis pipelines. Develop AI solutions to resolve issues for our partners (e.g., Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing).
Junior Technical Lead: As a Junior Technical Lead, you will support the team by driving key digital initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across IT and PT functions. Your responsibilities include:
Work with IT and PT stakeholders to plan, execute, and sustain digital solutions.
Help define and manage user requirements and backlogs, support use case deployments from diagnosis to implementation.
Coordinate with data scientists, data engineers, UX/UI designers, IT specialists, and SMEs. Aid in value tracking and capability building.
Partner with end customers to develop new analytics capabilities and share best practices
Scope: The initial scope of your projects will primarily be in the PTGenAI team, supporting process improvement, portfolio management, data management, workforce strategy, product delivery.
Who You Are:
Education and Experience: You have a Master’s Degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Pharma, holding a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Physics, or a related quantitative field. A PhD is advantageous.
Technical and Business Skills: Proficient in advanced analytics and biotech, data pipelining, modeling concepts, and AI platform ecosystems. Skilled in various AI and machine learning algorithms, programming languages (Python, R), data visualization, and cloud computing (GCP/AWS). Familiarity with Dataiku and large data sets is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship management, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to influence without formal authority, inspire cross-functional teams, and communicate complex ideas effectively. Experience with agile methodologies and innovation frameworks is beneficial.
Mindset: Outcome-focused, proactive, customer-centric, and capable of strategic and analytical thinking. Demonstrates an enterprise mindset and entrepreneurial behaviors, identifying user needs and generating viable solutions creatively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Be part of a cross-functional use case team addressing high-pressing business problems, familiarizing yourself with product-related data, manufacturing processes, and systems.
Data Analysis and AI Solutions: Undertake data preprocessing, analyze static and real-time data to discover trends, and implement analysis pipelines. Build AI solutions to predict and solve manufacturing-related issues.
Agility and Innovation: Demonstrate agility in working, communicating a compelling story and complex concepts with aspirational language, and applying elements of FAIR Data Citizenship in decision-making processes.
