The Robotics Operations and Supply Chain organization sources and manufactures a portfolio of robotics technologies. We are responsible for delivering the right materials to the right place at the right time to support our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions. Our operation works cross-functionally with teams across the globe and is driven by data and metrics.
The Robotics Supply Chain team is seeking a Sr. Global Commodity Manager, EU to lead our European supply chain strategy. This senior leadership position will drive measurable improvements in cost, quality, and delivery performance across our European supply chain ecosystem while supporting our robotics technologies portfolio.
As Sr. Global Commodity Manager, EU, you will direct strategic initiatives across multiple commodity areas, including sheet metal fabrication, mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Your success will be measured through achieved cost savings, lead time reduction, quality metrics improvement, and successful implementation of strategic programs.
The Sr. Global Commodity Manager, EU leads supplier sourcing and selection activities while managing supplier relationships to ensure a supply chain capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective materials.

Strategic Leadership & Supply Chain Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive European supply chain strategy, integrating supplier development, cost optimization, and technology advancement initiatives
- Drive strategic supplier selection and development aligned with Amazon Robotics' objectives for both current production and future growth
- Establish technology roadmaps with key suppliers to support new product introduction and commodity development programs
- Lead regional footprint optimization and capacity planning initiatives
Supplier Relationship Management & Performance:
- Manage executive-level supplier relationships and strategic partnerships
- Establish and govern a comprehensive supplier performance management framework.
Operational Excellence:
- Direct end-to-end supply chain operations for critical commodity categories while ensuring alignment with manufacturing and engineering requirements
- Develop and execute dual-sourcing strategies to enhance supply chain resilience
- Champion new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements through early supplier involvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Experience in global commodity management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain operations
- Experience managing mechanical and electromechanical components and assemblies suppliers in manufacturing industry
- Experience implementing regional sourcing strategies, supplier localization programs, contract negotiations in manufacturing industry
- Experience managing new product introduction with suppliers
- Experience with engineering documentation and technical specifications review
- Experience in the robotics, automation, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors
- Familiarity with European supply base and regulatory environment
- Experience working with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems (e.g., Agile, Oracle, SAP)

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field- Experience in the robotics, automation, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors

- Experience working with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems (e.g., Agile, Oracle, SAP)
