About Seen Health

At Seen Health, we are revolutionizing the way senior care is delivered through the PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model. Backed by top VCs, Seen Health is a culturally-focused, technology-enabled healthcare organization that integrates comprehensive medical care and social support with a high-touch, interdisciplinary approach.

Our mission is to empower seniors to age-in-place with dignity and provide their families peace of mind. We are building upon a proven Home and community based services model to create a culturally-competent and scalable PACE program. We are also building a comprehensive operating system focused on data and workflows that span across systems, processes, people, and care contexts. We want to empower our clinicians and staff with tools that deliver relevant data at the time and site of care and enable them to deliver exceptional care to our participants, which improve clinical outcomes, participant & provider satisfaction, and ultimately our strength as an organization.

We are a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team with deep healthcare, technology, and operations expertise, each inspired by our own personal stories of caring for seniors in our lives. Our name, Seen Health, was chosen to reflect our commitment to provide the highest standard of care to underserved older adults while respecting and incorporating their individual beliefs, heritage, and values, so that they can truly be seen.

About the role

At Seen Health, we believe that older adults deserve better: care that is coordinated, community based, and culturally aligned. We aim to deliver this through a technology-enabled version of PACE, one of the most promising care delivery models in the country. PACE offers seniors a one-stop, local solution that empowers them to live independently in their homes. But, PACE is currently hampered by outdated tools and fragmented systems.

As the first Lead Product Designer, you’ll reimagine this status quo–designing elegant, human-centered experiences that help care teams thrive and older adults feel seen. This is not a remote desk job. You’ll work regularly from our San Gabriel Valley center, embedded alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary care team serving a vibrant AAPI senior community.

You’ll see first-hand how your colleagues deliver exceptional care using the tools you’ve built and how older adults engage with the experiences you’ve crafted. You’ll work regularly from our warm and inviting center in Los Angeles, crafting solutions for a dedicated, multidisciplinary care team who serve our vibrant AAPI senior community.

What You’ll Own

  • Co-created Care Workflows:
Partner daily with nurses, therapists, drivers, and physicians to understand care delivery across homes, clinics, and community settings. Brainstorm tools that make their work easier and more joyful.
  • Design Execution:
Deliver user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that communicate clear product intent. Prioritize progress over perfection, getting meaningful tools into the hands of users quickly. Embrace AI tools to unlock thinking and accelerate your work.
  • User Discovery:
Conduct daily interviews and shadowing sessions with staff and participants to uncover unmet needs and surface creative possibilities grounded in real-world use. Translate that understanding into clean designs that keep the team humming.
  • Design Systems:
Help build and evolve Seen Health’s design system to ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and cultural resonance across our products. Craft reusable components that scale across care settings and devices.
  • User Feedback Loops:
Combine qualitative insights and analytics to understand how our products are used, identify friction points, and rapidly iterate to improve them.

Qualities we’re looking for

Driven by purpose:
You care deeply about health equity and want your design work to support providers and caregivers, who look after vulnerable populations.

AI-forward designer:
You embrace AI as an efficiency multiplier—to augment ideation, testing, and design. You use it to uncover patterns in feedback, generate design variants, and test workflow concepts.

Empathetic learner:
You’re skilled at uncovering user needs through interviews, shadowing, and field research, especially for non-tech-native users and in cross-cultural settings.

Craft-obsessed:
You can zoom out to think about business needs and service models, and can zoom in to design pixel-perfect interfaces that support those goals.

Nimble and resilient:
You thrive in lean fast-paced environments, balancing speed with thoughtfulness and progress with quality. You know how to tune out distractions and focus on creating impact.
