What will you do every day?

As SDET 3 at Suki you will own and drive the functionality, integration and performance test roadmap for Suki’s industry leading advanced AI/ML driven platform. You will develop automated tests, testing tools and processes to ensure that our services are stable and high-performing. You will collaborate with product, design & engineering teams in an agile development environment to implement testing strategies that ensure robustness and reliability of the entire system. You will play a key role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our core platform. You will also work cross-functionally with related teams such as Product, Technical Operations, and Release Management.

Responsibilities:

• Functionality, integration, and automation testing for frontend, APIs, and SDKs
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests to enhance tools/scripts, and test coverage
• Debug and analyze the bugs in the application that can help developers arrive at the root cause
• Investigate and propose test frameworks for modern AI/ML driven applications and platforms
• Write detailed test plans, and test cases for Suki services, features, and ML models
• Should be able to participate in product discussions & refine the acceptance criteria 
• Responsible for the entire QA lifecycle of a feature- development, test, deployment, and subsequent fixes and improvements
• Collaborate with DevOps and SREs for deployments and feature releases
• Collaborates with engineers, designers, and PMs to work on implementation details and build optimized test strategies

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Test automation, and QA
• Expertise in at least one programming language (Java/Python)
• Proficient with testing frameworks for API/Mobile/Web
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment of test suites.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, gRPC, WebSocket, gQL, and RESTful APIs
• Excellent debugging skills on multi-layered complex products 
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• BA/BS degree in CS or related field; MS/PhD a plus

Desired Skills (Good to Have):

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration: Proven ability to integrate AI concepts or tools into end-to-end testing workflow execution
• AI Mentorship: Experience mentoring peers on the usage of AI-driven testing tools or methodologies
• AI for Efficiency: Demonstrated capability to identify inefficiencies in existing processes that could be effectively solved or improved using AI technologies
• Leadership: Ability to independently lead efforts for optimized testing in a fast paced environment
• Experience with health systems and EHRs are a plus
• Prior start-up experience is a plus

This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
