The University of Louisville, Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute seeks candidates for a full-time Data Specialist I position with the Division of Environmental Medicine, who will manage several large datasets in our laboratory. This individual will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of investigators on epidemiology, environmental health, and basic science projects. The Data Specialist I will work closely with Dr. Daniel Riggs, and a team of researchers to oversee and maintain several large datasets, including cleaning and scoring data and preparing datasets for analysis. This is a grant funded position with continued employment contingent on grant renewals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Dataset management
Data cleaning
Scoring datasets
Assisting with research team-based tasks
Creating data dictionaries
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field.
Previous experience working with statistical analysis, machine learning, or GIS data is preferred.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
