The Sr. Quality Manager role offers global exposure within NI and to our customers and enables the quality team to be outstanding in reaching business goals and objectives and demonstrating ā€˜Total Quality Management’ across all departments!

This role will report to the Global Quality Department and will be engaged extensively with the Business Units, Global Services, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure that customers’ expectations are met!


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals across product lines and projects
  • Enhance decision-making based on data to improve quality and customer happiness metrics
  • Lead all aspects of the design and implementation of quality systems and standards
  • Collaborate multi-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to resolve issues and deliver superior products
  • Develop and implement quality strategies for new product introductions, from concept to launch
  • Analyze trends and insights using sophisticated analytics tools to drive root-cause analysis and preventive actions
  • Represent the voice of the customer in quality initiatives and improvement programs
  • Report on performance, risk, and compliance to senior leadership and customers

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics), Material Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a strong emphasis on data analytics.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of quality standards and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC, DOE).
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable quality improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsĀ 
  • Knowledge of Snowflake warehousing Platform is a plus.

  • Ability to lead and drive issue managementĀ 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Semiconductor, electronics, medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques for predictive quality analytics.
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Interact with business leaders to identify and define key issues, gather requirements, design and develop insight solutions, communicate findings and make recommendations.
  • Be a thought leader. Proactively propose creative ideas to apply analytics to business problems.Ā 
  • Drive innovations and efficiency by implementing scalable analytics solutions
  • Leverage cutting edge and traditional business intelligence tools to develop scalable insight solutions
  • Perform data engineering type of tasks including acquisition, transformation, and enhancements from multiple sources, profile data, and create scalable, reusable data sets in support of analytical and reporting needs
