Teragonia's Value Creation & Analytics (VC&A) division operates at the intersection of finance, management consulting, and advanced technology, serving as the strategic backbone for private equity portfolio companies and founder-owned
businesses. We specialize in creating bespoke 'data-to-dollars' value creation playbooks using Decision Intelligence Systems (DIS) that deliver real-time, system- level insights to enhance EBITDA, recognizing the critical role that data-driven
decision-making plays in maximizing enterprise value and accelerating capital velocity. Our team combines the analytical rigor of management consulting with the technical depth of advanced analytics and AI, leveraging cutting-edge statistical models, optimization techniques, and machine learning to solve complex business challenges and generate transformative business value. We supplement our Decision Intelligence Systems with advisory services to help business leaders operationalize analytics-driven strategies, working closely with investment teams, operating partners, and management to embed analytics in

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join our team as an Analyst. As an Analyst, you will work closely with our team of analytics engineers to design and develop advanced analytics solutions for our private equity-backed portfolio
company clients. You will assist in understanding their business needs and developing tailored analytics solutions.
Our Value Creation & Analytics practice is built around three primary circles: Technical Mastery (Astradis), Business Operations, and Client Success. Technical Mastery leverages our Astradis platform to centralize data and deliver actionable
insights. Business Operations focuses on data-driven process optimization and performance monitoring to enhance operational efficiency. Client Success ensures value realization through proactive partnership, measurable ROI, and continual
improvement.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Implementation and Value Creation
• Design, develop, and optimize complex enterprise data models to solve operational and financial business problems
• Build and maintain ELT processes while ensuring data quality and pipeline performance
• Transform raw data into structured datasets using SQL and other data manipulation tools
• Develop high-quality, visually appealing reports and dashboards that communicate complex analytics insights
• Identify key performance indicators and analyze data to drive business improvements
• Support data warehouses and cloud platforms while implementing data governance policies
Client Engagement
• Translate business needs into exploratory data analysis programs
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical client executives
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Present analytics findings in a manner that is accessible and actionable for senior executives
• Participate actively in client meetings and contribute meaningfully to project deliverables
Project Management
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers
• Contribute to process improvements that increase team efficiency and productivity
• Stay current with industry trends and apply emerging best practices to client solutions

Recruiting Process
Our recruitment process is designed to ensure a thoughtful and comprehensive evaluation of candidates, as well as alignment with the team’s objectives and company values. The process typically involves the following stages:
• Initial Interviews with Managers: Candidates participate in two interviews with hiring managers. These conversations focus on assessing the candidate’s alignment with the team’s goals and general suitability for the role.
• Technical Interviews with Principals: Shortlisted candidates proceed to one or two in-depth technical interviews with senior technical leaders or principals. These sessions evaluate technical competencies, problem-solving abilities, and depth of expertise relevant to the position.
• Final Interview with Founders: The final stage of the process is an interview with the company’s founders. This meeting provides an opportunity to discuss strategic alignment, vision, and long-term contribution to the organization.

Working Hours and ESA Exemption
This position is classified as a specialized professional role under O. Reg. 285/01, s. 2 of the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA) and is therefore exempt from overtime pay requirements. While standard hours of work are expected to
be approximately 40 hours per week, additional hours may be required to meet client deliverable sand business needs. These expectations are reflected in the annual salary.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with excellent academic performance from accredited universities
• Demonstrated interest in learning how analytics insights drive business value
• Advanced programming skills in SQL and Python
• Experience in performing exploratory data analysis in a professional setting
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent residence, or valid work permit – Teragonia may sponsor visa applications for eligible candidates subject to applicable Canadian immigration laws and regulations
Preferred
• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and data and analytics technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, Airflow, DBT, FiveTran, GitHub, or highly relatable technologies
• 2 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering or a related field at global consulting firms, top financial services firms or high-growth startups
• At least one relevant internship experience or up to 2 years experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering or a related field at global consulting firms, top financial services firms or high-growth startups
• High business acumen and advanced understanding of connectivity between operational data and financial data (ERP to CRM to PoS to HRIS to P&L / trial balance / journal entries, etc.)
• Experience with data modeling methodologies and concepts (e.g., Kimball Modeling, Data Vault, Data Mesh, etc.)
• Certification in data science or analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional)
• Master's in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or similar advanced degree
