Join our international team as data scientist, shaping cutting-edge metabolomics data and get various insights out of it. You will design and develop (cloud) pipelines for descriptive statistics as well as any type of statistics and possibly ML for trial data. Collaborate across diverse projects, expanding your skills. Your key responsibilities

 

• Organizing databases
• Development of pipelines for data flows
• Taking care of any aspect of at least one massive and growing dataset - of course together with colleagues
• Statistical analyses

You bring

 

• Very good skills in R, one scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl, …), one (partly) compiled language (e.g. Java, C++, …)
• Solid and thorough skills in data management / databases
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Bi
• Very good statistical knowledge
• Very good written / oral communication skills in English
• Solid knowledge of cloud data flows / computing
• Solid experience in Linux system setup and shell scripting (bash)
• nice to haves:
• The solid knowledge of cloud data flows / computing is in Azure and AWS
• Solid knowledge of machine learning
• General biological knowledge
