Job Description

We are a team that’s responsible for a range of software, each of which presents its own challenges. As a team we operate a policy of ‘R&D productivity through quality’ and as such we proactively look at ways to improve the quality of the software all the time.   

• Implementation of tests and working with developers to improve testing  

• Development of in-depth knowledge of the process and software being used  

• Looking at and improving processes and the testing that is currently being used  

• Work with a geographically dispersed team to ensure continuity of support and expertise  

• Hands on experience working with DevOps pipelines in any of the technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab

• Hands on experience of working on cloud infrastructure tools like Docker, K8, with AWS, Azure, GCP 

• Handson experience in building and maintaining hybrid multi-paradigm (API, web, app) frameworks. 

• Handson experience and in-depth knowledge on the programming languages like Go (preferred), Java  and scripting languages like JavaScript. 

• Experience on adopting AI and ML technologies for QA lifecycle will be an added advantage. 

Required competence   

• An Analytical mind  

• A deep understanding of QA and its principles  

• Technical Appetite to learn and master new technical areas 

• A willingness to learn about DevOps   

• Good understanding of general IT practices  

• Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing work environment  

• Coding Experience  

• Knowledge of DevOps an advantage  

• General Software security knowledge is an advantage 

• Ability to mentor others in QA skills 

Qualifications

• A University degree, or equivalent professional qualifications, in software engineering, computer science, or IT operations or equivalent experience    

• Minimum of 6 years of experience working working in technical SDET/ DevOps/ Software engineering
