Job Title: Data Manager

Working Pattern: Fulltime

Working location: Indianapolis, IN

As the Data Manager for a United States (U.S) Department of Defense (DoD) Program, you will be responsible for providing direction and oversight to ensure adherence to compliance requirements, coordinate data management and strategize for future program data needs.

What you will be doing:

With this attractive opportunity you will be responsible for providing direction and oversight to ensure adherence to compliance requirements, coordinate data management and strategize for future program data needs.

This role will include program support of Export Control, Program Security, Intellectual Property, Customer Deliverables, Training, and Data Strategy.

Key Accountabilities:
•    Own the program Technology Control Plan and ensure it is followed including Export Control
•    Coordinate compliance on any program specific security items like Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), maintaining the “Need to Know” list and act as the Enterprise Cyber focal for the program
•    Protect Intellectual Property by ensuring data rights assertions are applied to documents properly and promote, track, and report Records of Invention (ROIs) for the program as required
•    Support submittal of Sub-Contract Data Requirements
•    Prepare and conduct any training for the team related to the above items and maintain any document templates for the above items.
•    Develop and execute the data strategy for the program and lead any special projects related to data protection as the program evolves.

Basic Requirements:
• Associates degree and 7+ years of experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, OR
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, OR
• JD/PhD, or
• 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US citizen and able to obtain a US Security clearance.

• Demonstrated thoroughness and attention to detail
• Demonstrated strengths in customer & stakeholder management
• Demonstrated ability to influence and deliver in a cross-functional environment
• Data management experience in technology and/or development programs
