Job Description

Central Injection Engineer (Methods) F/M/X

(CDI - based in Lyon)

 

We are currently looking for passionate people ready to make a difference in the following open position: Central Injection Engineer (Methods) F/M/X, based in Lyon (7e).

The Central Injection Engineer (Methods) will collaborate within the Injection network and will be responsible for establishing and updating documentation for procedure, process and work instruction for the global injection network. She/he will also be responsible for writing training materials and associated follow-up documents.

This position reports to the Central Injection Manager and is based in our HQ in Lyon Gerland.

 

Job Description :

  • Collect and consolidate best practices from SME (Subject Matter Expert) in different sites and integrate them into standardized documentation.
  • Establish and update central injection molding procedures and manufacturing documentation
  • Ensure the accuracy/efficiency of the documentation with industrial and regulatory standards in close collaboration with departments such as Production & Quality.
  • Write training materials in collaboration with SME such as :
    • Injection Process Optimization
    • Design of Experiments and Process Window Definition
    • Use of Mold/Press Pressure Sensors
  • Train operational teams on the new documentation and ensure the deployment across injection network using skill matrix and associate follow up.
  • Participate to the continuous improvement process and identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

You’ll help us achieve our corporate growth goals by bringing these skills to Nemera:

 

You hold a Master’s or Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in relevant field (e.g., engineering, data science, mechanical or physics etc
).  You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial and international environments (e.g., plastics industries such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, packaging).

 

You demonstrate proven advanced skills with Office 365 environment and software, especially Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

 

You are comfortable with programming languages and computational tools commonly used in scientific environments (e.g., Python, VBA, etc.)

 

Recognized for your strong collaboration and communication skills, you are a natural leader capable of making insightful recommendations and effectively leading cross-functional teams. You demonstrate the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

You are fluent in both French and English (spoken and written) and possess excellent communication skills.
