Your Mission

 

We're seeking a Director - Global Sync Platforms to work across all technology offerings for customers and clients across both Production Music and commercial Sync Digital Business. This position is responsible for supporting the VP Global Sync Platforms in delivery of all digital roadmap items to ensure seamless and market leading systems and infrastructure for the B2B Sales & Marketing and Global Licensing teams and their clients. This position takes ownership of various projects in a Project Manager capacity and provides daily support and advice for global colleagues with the day to day running of the digital platforms. 

 

What You'll Be Doing

 

Product ownership of search:

  • Work with search partners to create the most direct route to simplified but perfect search results.
  • Confident instruction of algorithms, weightings and visibility for each track.
  • Ensure successful integration of AI features and 3rd party search tool integrations.
  • Co-ordinate integration of search roadmap with suppliers and developers for smooth delivery.

 

Project management:

  • Support the VP Global Sync Platforms in all aspects of end-to-end project work across various features including and not restricted to;

 

Search & Edit Implementations

  • AI Integrations, Cue Sheet/Licensing tools, Ecommerce, Digital Asset Management, Edit Software Extensions, UX/UI

 

Product management:

  • Day to day product development co-ordination.
  • Work with external vendor colleagues to give direction including requirement gathering, prioritization and UAT.
  • Work to roadmap deadlines in agile framework. Work closely with development partners, managing relationships and communications.
  • Communication & Documentation as needed across all channels within digital Sync and PM landscape.

 

Support

  • Working with IT support and tracking of open and closed issues.
  • Client facing website support for local teams.
  • Supporting applications across the board, Content Media Partners. AI Tools, CRM, CMS, EMarketing etc.

 

 

What We Are Looking For

 

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex AI/ML projects from concept through to production, including defining project scope, managing timelines, and measuring impact.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and best practices in operationalizing AI models (MLOps), including data quality, model drift, scalability, and ethical AI considerations.
  • Ability to critically assess the feasibility and potential ROI of proposed AI initiatives and to engage in substantive technical discussions with AI specialists and vendors.
  • Deep understanding of B2B digital ecosystems, with experience delivering scalable platforms for enterprise users, preferably in media, entertainment, or music licensing sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions across cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with metadata frameworks, content management systems (CMS), and digital asset management (DAM) tools in a global context.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Familiarity with user research and UX/UI principles to ensure product design aligns with customer expectations and behavior.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation for digital tools and technology platforms.
  • Adept at synthesizing product usage data and platform analytics to inform ongoing optimization and roadmap planning.
  • Proven ability to lead without authority and influence diverse teams toward common strategic objectives.
  • Passionate about innovation in music technology and emerging trends in sync licensing, e-commerce, and generative AI.
