PeopleCert is looking for a Data Architect to join the relevant team and support data driven decision making of the organization by developing the appropriate corporate data warehouse/s, corporate data lake/s, cubes for self-service reporting, and advanced analytics & AI deliverables.

As a Data Architect, your tasks will include the following:

  • Design, implement and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse/s of the organization in MS Cloud.
  • Design, implement and maintain data factory pipelines (ELT workloads) to populate the corporate data lake from various source systems including CRM, ERP, Call Center, Audio & Video streams, and in-house developed software applications.
  • Cooperate with Head of Information Security and Data Protection Officer to apply security principles and guidelines to protect data and exposure.
  • Cooperate with Software Development Chief Architect in systems integrations.
  • Cooperate with the DMO members in designing data models, flows, BI reports, data science and artificial intelligence deliverables.
  • Monitor the performance for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the performance vs cost and provide suggestions in optimizing the EDW cost.
  • Follow technical advancements in EDW and suggest improvements.
  • Train the DMO members in adopting best practices for designing and implementing solutions.
  • Keep the EDW architecture documentation updated.

What we look for:

  • Extensive working experience as Software Developer and/or Data Engineer and/or Data Scientist, leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies (e.g. Azure Data Lake, Data Lake, Databricks).
  • BSc or MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management or related field.
  • Certification in MS Azure Data Solution/s will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in data warehousing workloads using ETL or ELT technologies (e.g. SSIS) and solid T-SQL skills.
  • Experience in SSAS tabular or in Power BI data modeling is optional, includes DAX.
  • Optional exposure to data science work, Python Jupyter notebooks, Databricks.
  • Strong commitment to quality and delivery timelines, proactive, team player.
  • Excellent command of the English language.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

    • If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
    • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
    • In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
