Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for big data environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline data workflows.
- Leverage Azure Sentinel and other tools to ensure robust data security.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Solution Architects).
- Manage and analyze large datasets, including sensitive data (e.g., payments or customer information).
- Present results to stakeholders and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, or large-scale data management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and related technologies.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for data manipulation and automation.
- Data Security: A strong focus on data security, with experience using Azure Sentinel or similar tools.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and leveraging DevOps tools.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (B2 or higher) for speaking, writing, and presenting complex insights.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within Scrum/Agile teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with data governance and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools for stakeholder presentations.
