What the role will entail

• Lead stakeholder engagement, scope planning, and project coordination to deliver data solutions aligned with business needs
• Collaborate with data science, BI, and cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and insights
• Design and develop scalable data lakes, warehouses, and robust ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and cloud/big data technologies
• Drive infrastructure optimization by automating processes, enhancing data delivery, and supporting advanced analytics frameworks
• Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous checks, architectural oversight, and maintenance of complex data pipelines

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Data Engineer, with strong proficiency in big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), SQL/NoSQL databases, and scripting languages like Python, Java, C++, or Scala
• Skilled in designing data pipelines using tools like Airflow or Azkaban, with hands-on experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, MongoDB) and stream-processing systems like Storm or Spark Streaming
• Possesses a strong mix of leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality results, rapid learning in new domains, and excellent communication paired with innovation and resourcefulness
