At Root, we’re on a mission to improve the lives of our customers by offering better insurance solutions. We challenge ourselves to think differently in order to reimagine insurance to make it smarter, more equitable, and a better experience for all.

We strive to “unbreak” the archaic insurance industry by using data and technology in innovative new ways. We believe we must be steadfast in our commitments to research, experimentation, and disciplined data-driven decision making in order to build products our customers love. Analytics sits at the center of our vision.

Our Marketing team manages all aspects of our direct to consumer marketing. Our efforts span Search Engine Marketing, Direct Mail, Vertical Search, Email retargeting, and other Mid to Upper Funnel initiatives. This team strives to ensure we attract high intent potential customers to achieve a favorable return on ad spend and company growth.

As a Lead Analyst, you’ll own the design and execution of high-impact analytics projects that drive our marketing performance and strategic decision making. You’ll lead complex exploratory research, develop attribution models, optimize bidding and targeting strategies, and innovate on advanced methodologies to better measure campaign effectiveness. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional peers in Product, Data Science, and Engineering to ensure the marketing roadmap is grounded in strong analytical foundations.
