About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate BI Developer to join our growing Data team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the data culture and infrastructure of a high-growth company using a modern data stack. In this role, you'll collaborate across all departments, translating business needs into actionable insights and developing high-quality analytics solutions using tools like PowerBI, dbt, and SQL.

You will be part of a team responsible for creating data pipelines, modeling data, building dashboards, and ensuring that all stakeholders have the information they need to make fast, informed, and data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

·     Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical specifications.

·     Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions and dashboards, primarily using PowerBI.

·     Build and maintain robust data models and transformations using dbt.

·     Develop and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and manipulate data from the data warehouse.

·     Create and maintain ELT/ETL processes that ensure high data quality and availability.

·     Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions.

·     Maintain and support the company’s analytics platforms and data warehouse infrastructure.

·     Collaborate with Data Engineers and other team members to ensure seamless data operations and delivery.

Requirements

·     4+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or a similar role.

·     Advanced SQL skills — you should be comfortable querying large and complex datasets.

·     Proven ability to write and maintain efficient ETL/ELT code.

·     Hands-on experience with PowerBI, including its modeling and visualization capabilities.

·     Experience with dbt (data build tool) and its use in a production analytics environment.

·     Familiarity with modern data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

·     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·     Excellent communication skills — capable of conveying complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

·     A team player with a sense of ownership and urgency, and the drive to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications

·     Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.

·     Knowledge of data governance, testing, and documentation best practices.

·     Exposure to Python or other scripting languages used in data engineering/analytics.

·     Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
