Job Description & Summary

Do you want to write your master's thesis about a complex issue related to one of our clients? We offer you the opportunity to write your thesis within PwC's Data Analytics Consulting team. This is a multidisciplinary team that uses its analytical skills to provide practical solutions to complex issues within the public, commercial and financial sectors. We do this by developing models, applications and data-driven solutions for our clients that are based on advanced technologies, including machine learning, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions.

What does your work look like?

During your internship you will work independently on a thesis topic of your choice in the field of data analysis. You are responsible for collecting data, developing and validating your models and presenting your results to professionals within PwC. You can seek advice from PwC professionals within our network and use all of our available resources. You also get access to our own Data Analytics Learning & Development program.

Who are you?

We are looking for talented and proactive interns who have a passion for econometrics, statistics and/or mathematics and who are real team players. We are also looking for talents who are analytically strong and who quickly make connections. You are the ideal candidate if:

  • you are in the last phase of your master's program (MSc) in a field such as econometrics, mathematics, statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science or another science discipline, have a demonstrable affinity with data analysis and can present good study results;
  • you enjoy tackling problems and coming up with practical and creative solutions;
  • you get along well with programs such as MatLab, Python or R;
  • you have good communication skills;
  • you have an excellent command of English, both orally and in writing.

What are we offering?

At PwC, you will have the opportunity to be yourself, get the best out of yourself in a high-performance organisation and grow within our global network. As part of our team we offer:

  • A competitive internship compensation, travel allowance for those without a student travel product, a laptop from PwC and paid vacation days;
  • Personalised internship programmes where collaboration with colleagues is key and you can constantly benefit from expert guidance to ensure your internship is a success;
  • Access to a comprehensive learning environment, where you can dive deep into different fields and learn about your potential future employer;
  • Development of your personal and business skills through our progressive courses and programmes;
  • A unique opportunity to gain insights into a leading professional services firm;
  • Hybrid working at the client, home and office;
  • Fun informal activities with your team.
