Overview: Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Global Marketing IT team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in working with data across multiple business units, and stakeholders within a large global organization. You will play a critical role in supporting the Data development of a digital PIM solution that powers many of our go to market strategies. Key Responsibilities:
· Perform data profiling to identify anomalies and ensure data integrity. Query and analyze the data to identify any trends. Review scheduled data tasks and on demand impacting the business strategies and determine appropriate solutions.
· The Data Analyst serves as the go-to person and a liaison between business end-user and development team to support data analysis and data alignment tasks for ingestion into the platform.
· Partner with Technical Architect to oversee and protect the data model of the PIM solution. Maintain the integrity of the platform and the data it holds to support business objectives.
· Oversee and maintain the deployment of data from a variety of data sources and types to Product Information Management (PIM) environments.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build and load data files. Help generate reports and KPIs to help inform business users of relevant trends and issues for the data in their respective BUs.
· Manage data and maintain support on to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of data loaded into the PIM environments.
· Help to Design and maintain end-user training and Change Request tickets.
· Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and provide technical support as necessary.
· Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on digital/website/ecommerce development and data management within large, global organization.
3. Proven experience working within teams, specifically on development, content management, and digital projects.
4. Strong expertise in agile methodologies, with hands-on experience working in Scrum teams and with Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence).
5. Cross-functional collaboration experience, working with stakeholders from marketing teams, IT departments, scrum teams, and development teams.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize business needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
8. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Excel for data analysis and management
9. Enterprise Data Lake/Warehouse Data Mining, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server Database
10. Programming in C#, Python, SQL, .Net
11. Strong ability to adapt to and learn new applications/tools quickly
