Job Overview 

AT&T is building a new era of intelligent automation. We are seeking a talented and driven AI Automation Engineer (Medior) with a strong fullstack Python background to join our AI solutions team. In this role, you will help build, integrate, and optimize intelligent systems leveraging AI agents, the LangGraph framework, and advanced context engineering techniques. You will work across the stack, collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, adaptive, and context-aware solutions for next-generation automation. 

You’ll develop Python-based, cloud-native applications and containerized (Docker) solutions, integrating advanced agentic frameworks like LangGraph and applying context engineering and prompt design. As part of a collaborative environment, you’ll contribute to the delivery of intelligent, reliable, and adaptive workflows that drive new levels of productivity and efficiency. 

 

Core Responsibilities 

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end Python applications that interface with AI agents and backend services, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable codebases. 

• Implement and orchestrate autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, connecting them with APIs, data sources, and user-facing interfaces. 

• Leverage the LangGraph framework to construct, visualize, and manage complex conversational flows and agent interactions. 

• Architect and implement systems for dynamic context management, memory, and prompt engineering to optimize agent behavior and user experience. 

• Integrate machine learning models, vector databases, and third-party services, ensuring seamless interoperability across components. 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, data science, engineering) to define requirements, propose technical solutions, and drive successful project delivery. 

• Develop automated tests, monitor system performance, and continually refine integration points for reliability and efficiency. 

• Apply software engineering best practices in code quality, testing, DevOps, and secure, ethical AI automation. 

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 

Day-to-Day 

• Design and develop Python-based agentic AI solutions and automation workflows. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on technical solutions. 

• Implement and maintain integrations with AI agents, LLMs, APIs, and data sources. 

• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and user experience. 

• Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices for scalable, maintainable code. 

Technical Skills 

• Proven experience with fullstack Python development (FastAPI, Flask, Django; SQL/NoSQL databases; React/Vue/Angular is a plus). 

• Hands-on experience building and integrating AI agents (LLMs, RAG, multi-agent systems) in production environments. 

• Familiarity with the LangGraph framework and agent orchestration patterns. 

• Deep understanding of context engineering, including retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design, and session management. 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. 

Additional Desirable Experience 

•  Awareness of AI security and AI/data governance best practices. 

• Knowledge of advanced ML model serving, vector search, or knowledge graph integration. 

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and data visualization tools. 

• Contributions to open-source AI or agent frameworks.  
   

Education 

Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.

Salary

CZK: Base salary from 91 000 CZK gross a month. The actual salary is based on skills, experience and knowledge.

SK: Base salary from 3130 EUR gross a month. The actual salary is based on skills, experience and knowledge.

Location and Work Environment 

These roles are based in Bratislava, Slovakia; Kosice, Slovakia; and Brno, Czechia. They are hybrid-flex positions requiring presence in the office 1-3 times per week, with occasional travel between these locations.
