The AI Technical Leader for HORSE will be responsible for driving the implementation and evolution of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions across our technology landscape. This role will play a critical part in supporting our architecture team, defining AI/ML frameworks and governance, and managing AI projects across the enterprise — ensuring scalable, ethical, and integrated use of AI technologies throughout the company.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ML / AI Ops frameworks and AI architecture methodologies,combined with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. This role requires the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into actionable insights.

What you will do

• AI Solution Architecture Support Collaborate with the architecture team to design and integrate AI solutions into the existing HORSE technology ecosystem, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and scalability needs.
• ML&AIOps Framework Development Define and maintain the framework for Machine Learning and AI operations (ML&AIOps), including best practices for model lifecycle management, monitoring, deployment, and documentation.
• AI Governance Definition Establish the governance model for AI across the organization, including standards, policies, and ethical guidelines for responsible AI usage, model accountability, and compliance.
• Cross-Functional AI Project Leadership Lead AI project initiatives across departments—not limited to the data lakehouse—ensuring the successful delivery of AI features in various applications throughout the company.
• Documentation and Standards Establish project documentation standards and ensure consistent implementation across AI initiatives, enabling knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration Act as the technical liaison between data scientists, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are fit-for-purpose and add measurable value.

What we are looking for

• At least 4 years of proven experience leading technical AI/ML projects in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management, operations (MLOps), and enterprise-scale architecture.
• Knowledge of AI governance practices, including data ethics, bias mitigation, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills to lead and deliver large-scale AI initiatives.
• Desirable:
  • Technical background in data engineering, analytics, or data science.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its AI/ML tools (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, etc.).
  • Experience with modern data architectures (e.g., lakehouse patterns) and associated technologies.
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR) and responsible AI practices in enterprise environments.
