Senior Software Engineer

As Milestone continues to grow and expand, we are now strengthening the Software Development department with even more talented Engineers. 

The candidate will join our Platform Integrations and Services unit where they will collaborate with current teams, in its different products and platform areas. We are a product-driven international team, not project-driven.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Milestone 

Your experience:

Must haves:

• You are a Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer. 
• Educational background in Computer Science or software engineering
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ and fundamentals on core programming
• Basic knowledge in Python
• Basic understanding of GStreamer and multimedia pipelines
• Experience with machine learning inference pipelines and model integration
• Familiarity with multithreaded programming and performance optimization
• Experience working with Linux-based systems
• Comfortable working with containerization tools like Docker

 

Nice to have:

• Experience with ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, or similar inference engines
• Familiarity with OpenCV, FFmpeg or other image / media processing libraries
• Exposure to microservices architectures and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation (GitHub Actions prefered)
• Understanding of secure communication protocols and networking fundamentals
• Experience with Golang
• Experience with C# and .Net.

• Estimate development effort for User Stories, Features and Epics

• Create and maintain software documentation

• Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective
• Perform code reviews for peers
