What Youāll DoĀ
As a Process Engineer, you'll play a critical role in solving our customersā biggest challenges by designing and optimizing display and semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world, shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry. Process Engineers at Applied Materials enjoy a diverse and exciting work experienceāno two days are the same and the challenges are complex and interesting. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects.Ā Ā

Role Responsibilities:Ā Ā
Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple productsĀ
Utilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a high number of complex systems for multiple productsĀ
Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and create process engineering specificationsĀ
Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelinesĀ
Train engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide them in the interpretation of the data, new methodologies, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolutionĀ
Communicate and engage with customers to resolve a broad spectrum of complex process engineering issues, with limited supervisionĀ
Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentationĀ
Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervisionĀ
Lead functional teams or projects, as neededĀ

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorās degree in a related fieldĀ
7-10 years of related experienceāÆāÆĀ
Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solvingĀ

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
