The NGA Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist and Expert Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist positions are responsible for automating cross-functional workflows, optimizing digital transfers, and modernizing production processes. The Data Scientist will operate at a senior or expert level, developing and improving data automation and integration processes to support intelligence operations.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a mission-focused environment where your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness and efficiency of GEOINT operations within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Responsibilities

As an NGA Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist or Expert Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist at Woolpert, you will be tasked with: • Serving as the technical lead for automating cross-functional workflows, optimizing digital transfers, and modernizing production processes• Supporting cross-functional operations spanning custom product creation, data integrity, DLA support, and CADRG development• Developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline workflows, enhance digital transfer processes, and optimize GEOINT content delivery across the internal and external enterprise• Integrating disparate systems through APl development and implementation• Improving and supporting Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) capabilities

Minimum Requirements:• U.S. citizenship• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearanceo Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening• A background with DoD/C/NGA-specific intelligence experience:o Must have a background where you have experience with NGA Foundation GEOINT products, data types, and delivery methodso Must have expert- or senior-level proficiency in Python and other programming languages applicable to automation developmento Must have expertise in integrating disparate systems through APl development and implementationo Must have demonstrated experience with database design, implementation, and optimizationo Must be able to support cross-functional operations spanning custom product creation, data integrity, DLA support, and CADRG developmento Must be able to develop and implement automation solutions that streamline workflows, enhance digital transfer processes, and optimize GEOINT content delivery across the enterprise• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with clarity and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; degree counts toward total years of experience• GEOINT data and analysis experienceo Experience applying GEOINT standards and performing QA/QC• Experience working on site at NGA, preferably in a complex organizational environment• Ability to work closely with customers, identifying and providing necessary training and support• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify performance improvements, optimize data workflows, and develop solutions• Up to date on the latest industry trends and emerging best practices in GIS and GEOINT data analysis, management, governance, quality, and stewardship
