Associate Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Associate Data Analyst is a professional individual responsible for supporting all biopharma data sets, data visualization and infrastructure build out for the portfolio. The Associate Data Analyst must have a working knowledge of data lakes and how to interconnect different data sets. Knowledge of related technical tools in biopharma like Snowflake(SQL), Matilion, Azure, and Qlik.

Salary Range: $56,000 - 65,000 per year.
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities

• Assist the biopharma business in overseeing data operations, projects, and 3rd party data procurement.
• Support IT infrastructure, including (CDP) data lake, data flows internal and 3rd party to and from CDP data lake, and more for biopharma.
• Collaborate with various teams across biopharma and global IT to identify data needs and deliver solutions/visualizations.
• Maintain the documentation and standardization of all biopharma data sets within the CDP data lake and report it back to greater data/IT teams.
• Administer and maintains data sources for several systems within the department.
• Assist with data integration and data integrity with the CDP platform using data cleansing techniques to help ensure data accuracy.
• Analyzes data sets and to provide recommendations and identify opportunities to improve the process.
• Assist in ad-hoc analytics and reporting requests form greater biopharma team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Finance/Accounting, Mathematics, Informatics, Business Management field required. MBA preferred.
• 0-3 years of data and IT infrastructure experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to think analytically, execute to a goal/vision, influence, problem solve, and impact/drive change in a heavily matrixed global environment.
• Demonstrates independence and must be self-driven.
• Work with cross functional teams.
• Communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to think innovatively and have a desire for learning.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute task in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work with multiple complex data sets, demonstrate time management skills, and to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Power Point, SAP, Qlik, and TM1.
• Ability to travel, including international travel.
