Enterprise data warehouse supports several critical business functions for the bank including Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk steering, and Customer 360. This role is vital for building and maintaining enterprise Master Data Management solutions to support business objectives. Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Kafka (Confluent/Apache) and RESTful APIs for real-time ingestion and event processing.
- Develop API-first integration between source systems and target SaaS platforms (including Informatica IICS, IDMC MDM).
- Configure and manage Kafka topics, schemas, producers/consumers, and streaming flows with robust error handling.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, define data contracts, and publish/subscribe strategies.
- Build event-driven MDM flows that support near real-time mastering, match & merge, and golden record creation.
- Integrate MDM outputs with downstream systems via APIs or publish-subscribe patterns.
- Ensure data lineage, security, auditability, and SOX compliance in all transformation processes.
- Establish enterprise-scale data integration procedures, data pipelines and frameworks across the data development life cycle. Suggest and implement appropriate technologies to deliver resilient, scalable, and future-proof data solutions.
- Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions.
- Manage deliverables of developers, perform design reviews and coordinate release management activities.
- Estimate and provide timelines for project activities. Identify, document, and communicate technical risks, issues and alternative solutions discovered during project.
- Drive automation, identify inefficiencies, optimize processes and data flows, and recommend improvements.
- Use agile engineering practices and various data development technologies to rapidly develop and implement efficient data products.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand PI goals, PI planning, requirement clarification, and delivery coordination.
- Technical support for production incidents and failures
- Work with global technology teams across different time zones (primarily US) to deliver timely business value.

Technical/Business Skills:
- Data Integration
- Expertise in Data Engineering or Integration roles in Large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Kafka (Confluent preferred) and real-time streaming architectures.
- Proven expertise in REST/SOAP API development and orchestration (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Good knowledge of AWS services related to data integration (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Glue, SNS/SQS).
- Master Data Management
- At least 1 year of Informatica Cloud MDM (IDMC) experience and exposure to legacy MDM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica (Application Integration, CDI, Mass Ingestion, etc.).
- Solid understanding of data contracts, message schemas (Avro/JSON), and event schemas.
- Experience with Informatica IDQ, Axon, or Data Governance tools.
- Knowledge of data modeling, survivorship rules, and party data mastering.
- Familiar with SOX, auditability, and data governance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed environments
- Performance tuning of data pipelines and DB Objects to deliver optimal performance.
- Experience in Gitlab version control and CI/CD processes.
- Experience working in Financial Industry is a plus.
