We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Forecast Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making. This role requires a strong ability to analyze historical data, identify trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment with business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities 

  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and external variables to improve forecast accuracy
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term forecasting models leveraging also on R and Python.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Demand Planning teams to incorporate business insights into demand history and forecasts.
  • Identify forecast variances and investigate root causes, proposing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Generate regular forecasting reports and dashboards to track KPIs and to support business reviews and decision-making.
  • Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, processes, and systems.
  • Participate in the implementation and optimization of forecasting software tools and platforms.
  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for strategic initiatives and planning cycles.
  • Run portfolio segmentation, validating and fine-tuning outcomes with Regional Demand Planning teams
  • Maintain and control the planning parameters relevant for forecasting

 

Summary of Experience  

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or a similar analytical role.
  • Experience with forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP or similar) and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI or similar) is a plus.
