Big Data Engineer

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support for big data infrastructure, including the Reltio platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to big data systems, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Document technical knowledge and share with team members to improve overall team efficiency.
• Communicate technical information to customers, providing guidance and support to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance.
• Monitor big data systems, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure system uptime and performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement and propose changes to enhance support efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Reltio platform, Hadoop, Spark, and related ecosystem tools.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with technical teams and customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
