We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our dynamic Insights & Intelligence team.
About the role:
Reporting into the Director of Customer Experience Research or Senior Director of Brand Performance, this role focuses on conducting primary Voice of the Customer, brand research, competitive intelligence research, and related analyses.
This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization including Sales, Customer Operations, Distribution Operations, IT, Office of Compliance, and various teams within Marketing and Insights & Intelligence. Through these partnerships, this role ensures that research objectives align with Cencora’s business strategy and delivers clear actionable insights that enable strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a steward of the insights and intelligence team, ensuring alignment with established measurement frameworks while driving continuous improvement and innovation in processes and methodologies.
- Develop and manage project plans, detailed timelines, and status reports for department priorities to ensure the successful execution of department priorities and deliverables, while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate within insights and intelligence and with cross-functional team to scope, plan, conduct, and deliver impactful market and brand performance research, including the creation of insights reports and dashboards.
- Leverage statistical methods and market research tools to conduct quantitative analyses and utilize qualitative methods and tools to extract meaningful insights from unstructured data.
- Prepare comprehensive insights reports and presentations that effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, marketing research, statistics or mathematics or related field is preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, marketing research, brand research, statistics or mathematics or a related field.
- Life Sciences quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical techniques and research methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Minimum skill and proficiency requirements:
- Market research platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Medallia, SPSS, R, Python)
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics, Medallia)
- Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Statistical methodologies (Demonstrated experience applying statistical methodologies such as multivariate regression, MaxDiff, conjoint, TURF analysis, Bayesian networks, brand equity, and awareness.)

Experience & Educational Requirements
Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, marketing research, statistics or mathematics or a related field.
- Completion of a graduate degree in data analytics, marketing research, statistics or mathematics or related field is preferred.
- Life Sciences quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experience strongly preferred.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
- Solid knowledge of statistical techniques and research methodologies.
- Expertise in use of market research platforms, strong preference for Qualtrics expertise (secondary preference: Sawtooth, SPSS, or Medallion)
- Proficiency in the use of statistical methodologies (regression, maxdiff, conjoint, Turf analysis, correlation, descriptive variables).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics and multivariate testing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a matrixed, team-oriented organization where all team members take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work while exemplifying Cencora’s guiding principles.
- Demonstrated aptitude for creative thinking and willingness to propose innovative approaches to data collection and analysis.

Full timeSalary Range*$56,500 - 83,270*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
