What we are building

The Customer Experience organization plays a key role in Domino’s continued growth as a startup and ensuring we help our customers achieve their data science goals.

As a data scientist contributing to our AI Hub, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining project templates that highlight Domino features and help our customers immediately realize value from the Domino platform.

What your impact will be

• Work closely with subject matter experts, data scientists, and other relevant teams to develop standardized project templates and resources (example project topics: Responsible AI, Creating a Chat Bot, RAG, etc.). These templates should highlight Domino features and streamline project development
• Work with our education team to create or adapt data science projects for use in our user workshops and trainings.
• Adapt internal, commonly-used projects into standardized templates that can be shared with customers and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to gather insights and feedback on project templates 
• Provide feedback loop with Product and Engineering to ensure AI Hub development matches customer needs

What we look for in this role

• Has worked in data science, ML, and/or AI
• Has created end-to-end data science projects
• Has built tools or reusable content that have been used by a broad audience
• Comfortable writing code, preferably python and R
• Experience with common data science libraries (PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks, e.g. Spark, Ray, Dask, etc.
• Has deployed models to production and measured its impact
• Has worked with external customers and internal collaborator
• Ideally has worked in Responsible AI, life sciences, public sector, or financial services
• Creativity: Able to develop new and unique ideas for how to solve data science problems
• Customer Focus: Able to build customer-centric content; includes getting first-hand customer information, establishing effective customer relationships, and understanding customer expectations and needs
• Functional/Technical Skills: Able to demonstrate the functional/technical knowledge and skills to consistently build high-quality content
• Innovation Management: Able to source creative ideas, vet which ones are likeliest to work, and bring these ideas to market
• Drive For Results: Able to be counted on to exceed goals; is consistently a top performer, even in the face of setbacks
• Learning on the Fly: Able to learn quickly and relentlessly when facing new problems; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks

The annual US base salary range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

Compensation Range $103,000—$150,000 USD
