Precision AQ is a leading HEOR consultancy at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technologies into health economic modeling. We specialize in developing innovative, evidence-based models that inform healthcare decision-making across global markets.

Internship Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytically minded university student to explore the application of Generative AI (GAI) in the design and development of health economic models. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants and data scientists to:

  • Leverage GAI tools (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) to design model structures based on constraints from published literature.
  • Replicate and adapt prior models developed by leading HEOR consultancies using AI-assisted workflows.
  • Develop Python-based microsimulation or Markov models with AI support.
  • Critically evaluate the role of LLMs in improving transparency, reproducibility, and speed in model development.
  • Present findings to internal teams and potentially contribute to a white paper or conference abstract.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Health Economics, Medical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Epidemiology, or Data Science.
  • Strong interest in AI applications in healthcare.
  • Experience with Python, R, or other modeling languages.
  • Familiarity with economic evaluation methods (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact).
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
