As a Quality Engineering Data Analyst, you will be a part of a team of quality engineers who will work inside & outside the organization to define, design, develop, and deliver data model architectures and analytics capabilities that support quality management.  This role combines reporting expertise and troubleshooting data quality.  You will focus on improving quality data that is generated in Anduril's core business systems (ERP, MES, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Quality Incident management system and QMS systems) as well as deep dive sources of variance in the data and provide corrective actions & improvements in data quality.  The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, quality management, data reporting, and a strong sense of solving virtual problems that impact real work quality. You will work across the organization, both at HQ and across the Anduril global sites.  If you are someone who loves to build world-class Quality processes, work hands-on, and be accountable for results, then this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support basic analytics and investigation utilizing existing tools and capabilities.
  • Direct users to utilize analytic dashboards, troubleshoot existing dashboard accuracy, and provide modification & improvements to increase dashboard effectiveness.
  • Drive basic continuous improvement projects with low ambiguity involving data quality.
  • Drives transactional data quality improvement activities and can drive elimination of variance for future data quality issues.
  • Understands and demonstrates a basic understanding of quality data management within production and supply chain data sources.
  • Develop and maintain analytics documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality requirements
  • Analyze product health data and drive improvement activities with product quality engineers.
  • Share lessons learned across the organization and to partner sites.
  • Analyze data and develop insights to scale quality management processes across hardware products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in defense products and/or complex production process management.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience creating analysis reports, descriptive metrics, and conducting RCAs for dashboard quality or availability issues.
  • Experience with dashboarding and data visualization tools (e.g., Foundry, Tableau, PowerBI) with a demonstrated ability to build performance dashboards tailored for cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables and data visualization tools for data analysis.
  • Great at working cross-functionally with other teams/departments
  • Experience with software tools/services like Slack, Jira, and Confluence
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Great at working cross-functionally with other teams/departments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with RCCA, 8D, and other methodologies for driving root cause and corrective action analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data coordinator, data analysis, quality analytics, or business intelligence role
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets across multiple systems.
  • Direct experience conducting research and analyzing data to gain insights into the business
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of work and completing tasks in a timely manner, while adapting rapidly to changing work environments, priorities and organizational needs
US Salary Range$90,000—$135,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
